Overall Comment:

TL;DR: Interesting and challenging with a good lecturer, approach with care – hard final.

Ross honestly put in the most effort towards trying to make sure everyone knew the contact compared to any lecturer I have had so far.  In saying this he has very high expectations of everyone as a result.

The course is different for everyone, it is very conceptual and being able to see a problem for what it really is (if that makes sense) is a must.  The questions often seem very hard until you do them and then they seem easy, as a result DO NOT fall into the trap of thinking you know everything because you can do worked examples.  The final exam will likely bone you, I dropped from a high 7 to a low 5 in the exam, however I found the midsem easy (only because I was lucky enough to see the problem for what it was immediately).
