Overall Comment This course is not structured in the way most courses are. You will go to the first lecture and meet your peers. Here you will pick a topic on soil to discuss. You will then delegate a date to go into the field and collect relevant data. It is then up to you to work in the labs to form the data. You are then required to form an assignment and a presentation around a specific question as delegated by the lecturer and in relation to the field data. There is a large peer mark; so remember to make friends. The final is comparatively easy if you have done the prerequisites and have knowledge of the Australian Soil Classification system. Programs such as ASC Key by CSIRO are vital and simple to learn for the final.
